Case study 1
Client 1 is a registered charity that provides water sport training and teaching sessions to young individuals.
CASE Accountancy Services was engaged by Client 1, to update the SAGE software system, after their previous book-keeper had left, and due to funding cuts they were struggling to find a suitable replacement.
Client 1 took advantage of the six month introductory offer, and the CASE Accountancy Services team got to work by entering the prior’s year's audit adjustments on to the system, their accountant at the time was charging an additional fee to process these journals.
The next task was to enter transactions going back 8 months to get the financial period 09/10 updated onto the system.
Client 1 is now up to date for the current financial period, and CASE Accountancy Services has been engaged on a fee basis as their book-keeper to continue our work, We have also been engaged to undertaken the year end independent examination, this could be offered at a more affordable rate as we were already familiar with their systems.
Case Study 2
Client 2 provides support to gay men, lesbians, and bisexual and transgender individuals
They also offer training to people who are responsible for domestic violence policy and practice in specialist organisations
Client 2 engaged CASE Accountancy Services to undertake their bookkeeping service under the free six month introductory offer in the absences of the previous administrator.
The organisation is currently being impacted by the funding cuts, and by CASE Accountancy Services providing the free service Client 2 is able to ensure the stable running of their organisation’s finances and concentrate on providing their charitable aims within a budget.
Case has provided consistent information to the client, by updating and addressing the errors that appeared on their financial records, and by providing a standard management report, CASE Accountancy Services staff also assisted Client 2 in setting up an imprest petty cash system.
The client uses QuickBooks to record their transactions, and this has been improved, in order to record the transactions more easily and clearly.
